Edgewise Column: Skedaddle and Bail

It’s common for everyone to have a schedule these days—elaborate plans packed with specific tasks to accomplish, places to be, appointments to keep, and so on. One of the consequences of tight schedules is that we always need to be going somewhere. And, in order to reach somewhere, we need to first leave from somewhere. This week, we’ll discuss a couple of expressions that refer to leaving.
